Jefferson Accelerated Math & Science Program (JAMS)
Jefferson Accelerated Math and Science (JAMS) is a three-year middle school choice program designed for students who seek additional academic challenge in a supportive learning environment.
JAMS engages students in advanced math, science, engineering, and technology experiences that foster creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving. Through hands-on projects and real-world challenges, students develop a deeper understanding of concepts while learning to think like innovators and design engineers.
The program is designed to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of adolescents while helping students build the skills, confidence, and independence needed for success in high school and beyond. JAMS encourages students to become curious, self-reflective learners who can lead, collaborate, and create solutions to complex problems.
