Welcome to the Communications and Community Relations section of the OSD staff intranet. This page is designed to help staff find commonly used communications resources, including publication information, social media guidance, district and school logos, and other tools to support clear, consistent and accessible communication across the district.
Whether you are looking for the right logo file, preparing information to share with families or staff, or have a story idea to highlight students, staff or programs, the Communications and Community Relations team is here to help. OSD Publications: Intended Audience
- OSD Annual Report: OSD students, staff, families and the Thurston County community. Published annually, generally in January.
- OSD School Performance Reports: These reports will show enrollment, assessment, and staff for the previous school year.
- 'Here's The Scoop' staff blog: OSD staff. Published weekly, generally on Monday afternoon.
- 'Spotlight on Success' newsletter: OSD students, staff, families, 'Friends of the OSD and the Thurston County community. Published monthly (generally the end of each month) during the school year.
- Social Media Platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube.
Note: If you have suggested content for the staff blog or Spotlight on Success newsletter, please contact the Communications and Community Relations Department at communications@osd.wednet.edu or (360) 596-6103. Depending on the article, photo or video idea, our department will work with you on upcoming publications and deadlines, and where your submission might best fit. We do not publish all requests in the district newsletter; however, generally we find a way to share the requested information, including social media platforms and the website.
